The newly renovated Brighton Dome, restored to its art-deco glory after a multimillion pound renovation project, is now the leading arts and conference venue in the South of England. The Dome was last refurbished in the 1930s and, inevitably, the fabric of the building had sadly decayed since the era in which it played host to artists including Richard Tauber, Paul Robeson, Fritz Kreisler and the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra.
